Olay Regenerist Cleanser

Olay Regenerist Cleanser Daily Regenerating Cream Wash is my latest cleanser I have been testing out. I have only good things to say about this! It is a gentle cleanser, that exfoliates away dead skin cells, revealing replenished, healthy skin.

Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Cream Wash provides cleansing care, enhanced with oxygenerated particles, for a beautifully regenerated look.

Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Cream Wash technology is inspired by Professional Oxygen Mini-treatment. It purifies & exfoliates to thoroughly remive impurities & refresh your skin. - Boots.

Here is some photos of the product in use, opposed to the usual swatched photos, you normally would see. I apply this to clean, damp skin, using a small amount & begin massaging into my face. It has a very smooth, creamy, velvety texture, that glides lovely against your skin, cleansing, as well as exfoliating with the very small beads.
To me, this feels very refreshing to a normal cleanser. With the added texture, you are able to gently renew your skin, daily, without being harsh. I allow this to sit on my face for a few minutes while I soak in the tub, just so it can work a tiny bit long, then remove the product with warm water. Finally, a splash of cold water to close pores & refresh my skin.

For £6.99 for 150ml, you really get a lot for your money. You don't need a huge amount to cover your face, which is great for your purse! At the moment, you can also buy 1 & get the 2nd half price on selected Olay facial skin care products at Boots. Can't complain!

Hope you enjoyed this little post!
Please do not hesitate to ask any question, queries, etc.

Boots 17 Berry Crush Lip Stain

As I won Boots 17 Twitter Party Goodie Bag, this lovely little thing was included. I'm so happy I have came across it. This is a felt tip style lip product, that applies a wash of colour to your lips. On the other end of the pen, there is a balm, which seals in the product & moisturises your lips. Wonderful!

Give your lips some love with a wash of kiss-proof colour enriched with Vitamin C for hydrated lips which are good enough to kiss! - Boots.

You can purchase yours here for £4.99.
I have taken some photos, showing from bare lips, throughout applying each coating of product. You can happily apply just one wash of colour, which gives a lovely subtle hint to your lips. You can also easily build up the colour, to create a more intense lip, without feeling heavy or uncomfortable.

Wearing Off
The felt tip pen applicator gives you ultimate control upon applying this to your lips.

As you can see, its the perfect product for summer time. If you're someone like me that is concious of wearing bold colours, in case the product smears, etc. However, with this, it is a stain. Once applied & dried for a minute or so, you can achieve a beautiful colour, that will stay put all day! I included an image of the lip colour wearing off. The colour still stays on your lips, even when you have used a napkin during eating & drinking. I found upon removing ym make up with a make up wipe, there was still colour & product left on my lips, which is quite amazing. I believe this is perfect for long summer days, or when you fancy a pop of color, without having to reapply!

I hope you enjoyed this little post!

Thank you!

So exciting to hear about the Cosmo Blog Awards 2012!

Mudd Original Mask

An old favourite, Mudd Original Mask. Simple, but wonderful.

Mudd Original Mask 10 Application Pack. Mudd is a range if deep cleansing facial masks, available in 1, 5 & 10 Application pack sizes.

Deep pore cleanser draws out hidden oils & grime. 100% pure clays containing special minerals absorb excess oil, deeply embedded dirt & make up. After use, skin feels smoother, softer & deep-cleansed. Helps control spots & blackheads as it tones & tightens the skin. Non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores or cause blemishes.  Dermatologically tested & lanolin-free formula.

How To Use:
Soak face with a warm, moist cloth & lot dry. Apply Mudd Original Mask over entire face, avoiding eyes. Allow 10-15 minutes to dry, then gently wipe off with a cool, wet cloth. Use once or twice a week or as needed. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use. For External use only. - Boots.

So, there is the info you need. Lets get onto the product itself.

Some very glamorous photos, to show you the process! I applied an even coverage of product to my clean face. Firstly, the product remains wet & tacky upon your face. A few minutes into the drying time, you can see patches start to dry, mainly the thinner applied areas first.
I tend to apply face masks whilst in the bath, then relax for 5-10 minutes, whilst it does its work. Although, the steam in the bathroom keeps the product damp on my skin. It works for me, though. For the purpose of this blog post, I decided to apply this in a dry atmosphere, so I can show the full potential.
Once fully dry, you will have by now felt your skin tighten quite a lot. I'm always tempted to scrunch my face, to crack the dry product! Once I am happy, I gently wipe my face, until the product is removed.
I feel incredibly refreshed after using this. I tend to apply a mask once a week. I genuinely don't have anything bad to say about this. It does exactly what it says. I do feel that all of the properties are doing good for my skin & at the end of the week, my skin is thankful for this coating of green!
So, there you have it. My thoughts upon Mudd Original Mask. I would most certainly re-purchase this. I feel as though every last particle of grime is removed from my face. What more could you ask for? Other than a more flattering shade of 'mud'!

Thank you!

17 Supreme Shine Lipstick in Bella

I decided to blog about a product I received in my 17 Twitter Party Goodie  Bag, which I have used everyday since receiving it! I do already own their Mirror Shine On Lipstick in Beehive, which I honestly adore. I have previously included this in a blog post, which you can read here (link).

Supreme Shine Lipstick in Bella, is rich & lightweight, with intense colour pigmentation. What's lovely, is this priduct is available in 13 shades - Barely Blush, Bon Bon, Pink Posey, Kissable, Hot Stuff, If You Please, Red Devil, Rich, Bella, Hot Flash, Day-glo, All About the Sass & Deep Secret. Such descriptive names, too. Definitely appeals to their paired shades!
The product itself is so lightweight, smooth & glossy. Its one of those lipsticks you can apply without a mirror, safely in the knowledge that you won't have overdrawn all around your mouth! I chose Bella, which is a nude shade, pretty much 'my lips but better'. I'd say this is a very neutral shade, that would comfortably sit any skin tone, very well.
I find they aren't too long lasting, however, I believe applying a nude lip liner as a base, this would apply longevity to the product. They do wear off very naturally, so you won't have to worry about bleeding or the product building up in the creases of your lips.

The packaging is sleek & mirrored. I have to say, I do prefer this packaging to the blue Mirror Shine On ones. I don;t feel as bad puling this out in public. However, I do think they design their packaging to suit the younger generation. As a 20 year old, I would be more content with something classic & sleek. None the less, the product has sold itself to me!

For my second 17 Lipstick, I can tell you I am not disappointed. I would certainly re-purchase from their lipstick range. For £4.99, you can afford to branch out of your comfort zone & brave the bolds!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Any questions, queries, etc, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you!
